Making a gift to United Way can be as simple as directing a tax-free transfer from your IRA. If you’re 70 ½ or older making a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is a great option to lower your income taxes while doing good for others right here in Buffalo & Erie County. QCD’s count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (up to $100,000), effectively lower your adjusted gross income and bring about many tax benefits.
